ContractorHUB ("we", "us", "our") operates a connection-only marketplace platform for industrial and commercial trade contractors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our website and services.

• Account data: name, email address, phone number, company name, and account type (Client or Tradesman).
• Profile data: trade specialisms, location, bio, and optional portfolio images.
• Certificate uploads: images of trade certificates or qualifications that Tradesmen voluntarily upload. These are stored securely and reviewed by automated AI tooling solely for the uploader's private reference.
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected via cookies and analytics tools.
• Payment data: we do not store card details. All payments are processed by our PCI-compliant payment provider.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your account.
• To display your public profile to other Users (only data you choose to make visible).
• To process subscription payments and send billing notifications.
• To provide private AI-assisted feedback on certificate uploads (Tradesmen only).
• To improve platform security, performance, and user experience.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Certificate Uploads and AI Review

When a Tradesman uploads a certificate image, our system uses automated AI analysis to generate a private readability and completeness report. This report is visible only to the uploading Tradesman within their dashboard.

ContractorHUB does not share certificate images or AI-generated reports with Clients, third parties, or the public. The AI review is not a legal verification, does not guarantee authenticity, and is provided as a convenience tool only.

Certificate images are retained until the User deletes them or closes their account.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the platform (hosting, payment processing, email delivery) and when required by law. All providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies to maintain sessions and optional analytics cookies to understand platform usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data Retention and Security

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We implement industry-standard encryption, access controls, and secure hosting to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against all breaches.
