Terms of Service

1. Platform Nature

ContractorHUB is a connection-only marketplace platform. We provide a digital space where businesses ("Clients") and independent trade contractors ("Tradesmen") can discover one another, exchange contact details, and arrange work directly. We are not an employment agency, a contractor ourselves, nor a party to any agreement formed between Users.

2. No Vetting, Verification or Insurance Guarantee

ContractorHUB does not vet, verify, insure, bond, or guarantee any Tradesman listed on the platform. We do not perform background checks, DBS checks, OSHA inspections, ISO audits, or trade-skill examinations.

Any certificate, qualification, or licence uploaded by a Tradesman is reviewed by automated AI tooling for the Tradesman's private reference only. This review is not a legal verification, does not constitute approval by ContractorHUB, and is never displayed to Clients or third parties as proof of competence.

Clients are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence — including verifying insurance, certifications, and references — before engaging any Tradesman.

3. No Liability for Work Performed

ContractorHUB accepts no liability for the quality, timeliness, safety, or legality of any work performed by a Tradesman, nor for any payment disputes, property damage, personal injury, or breach of contract arising from a Client-Tradesman relationship. All contractual, financial, and legal matters are strictly between the Client and the Tradesman.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Access to certain features requires a paid subscription, processed through our third-party payment provider. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are at our sole discretion and governed by the statutory cooling-off period where applicable.

5. User Conduct

Users must not post misleading, fraudulent, or illegal content; harass other Users; or use the platform for any purpose other than connecting for legitimate trade contracting opportunities. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, and software are the property of ContractorHUB. Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant us a licence to host and display it for the purpose of operating the platform.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately, but provisions relating to liability, indemnity, and intellectual property survive.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
